STEEL RETAINERS KIT
High Quality PAC Racing Polished Dual Spring kit combined by DRP.
These special Dual Valve springs kits are used when upgrading or retro fitting the Small Block Chevy, Ford Windsor or Holden V8 cylinder heads to a modern LS dual valve spring. These LS springs are smaller and therefor less mass to control which aids better valve train stability at higher RPMs when running a Hydraulic Roller camshaft. Depending on which valve train compents you have, this Retro fit LS valve spring upgrade can give you between 300 to 500 rpm extra RPM. These spring kits can also be use for Solid Flat Tappet camshafts.
The kit includes - all items made in USA.
- PAC RACING Polished Dual Springs,
- DRP Retainers suit 7° locks and 11/32" traditional valve stem
- DRP Locators 0.570" OD (common guide size for the Aftermarket heads)
- DRP Valve stem seals - Viton - suit 11/32" traditional vavle stem and 0.530 top of guide - metal body.
- Comp Cams Locks - 7° Machined (not cast) suit 11/32" valve stem - single groove.
Spring specs are as follows:
•MAX LIFT: 0.670" @ 1.800" installed height & 0.060" clearance to coil bind.
400 lbs @ Rate per inch
145 lbs @ 1.800"
•380 lbs @ 1.180"
•405lbs @ 1.150
•Coil bind @ 1.070"
