Ford 6R80 3100 to 3200 Stall Billet Triple-Disc Bolt-Together Torque Converter 5.0L Mustang Coyote

This TCI Race Bolt-Together Triple-Disc Converter is the ultimate in strength, efficiency, driveability and power transfer for all Coyote 5.0L Mustangs with a 6R80 Transmission. This converter does not require tuning.

This Mustang Torque Converter features a 3100-3200 Stall rating behind 5.0L Coyote engines.

Note: 2014-2017 has a "Flat" pump drive on the converter for the 6R80 Transmissions

These high-stall torque converters feature woven-carbon friction and lock-up control technology which seamlessly applies the clutch. Each one features a removable billet front that allows access to the entire lock-up assembly, turbine, stator and bearings for servicing or re-stalling in the event of future vehicle modifications. The billet front is CNC-machined and made from pre-hardened steel. For added strength, TCI engineers included a pre-hardened billet turbine hub, lock-up piston and 50-spline clutch hub. The converters are fully furnace-brazed, computer-balanced and hand-assembled to precise tolerances.

High Performance Ford Coyote 6R80 high-stall, multi-disc, lock-up torque converters designed specifially for 6R80 Transmissions utilizing electronic overdrive transmissions. The advantages of this TCI 6R80 converter’s high-stall nature allows the engine to rev up to max torque and multiplies it as the vehicle starts to move. This vastly improves the Mustang launch and overall performance. The converters feature a triple-disc, lock-up assembly with woven carbon frictions to handle more torque and dissipate heat more efficiently than the stock converter. TCI designed this converter with a higher clamping force on the clutch friction than other converters. This TCI Coyote Mustang Converter also boast full wide-open-throttle lock-up capability. Each converter features a CNC-machined, billet bolt-together design. No welding or cutting is required to access internals, meaning that each unit can be unbolted and disassembled.This enables easy stall changes and rebuilds, as well as efficient replacement of bearings and lock-up components if required for modificaton.
