Gen VI (6) Hydraulic Roller Camshafts - 7.4L Big Block Chevy
Gen VI (6) 454 502 Hydraulic Roller Camshafts to suit the late model BBC Vortec Big Block Chevy, 1996-2001. Total Performance stocks Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller Camshafts for the late model Big Block Chevy, applicatoins include, Towing, Marine, Street, Cruise and all out power! The late model Gen 6 454 502 Big Blocks have a different camshaft nose to the earlier big blocks. They have a stepped nose and use a cam thrust/retaining plate.
The GEN 6 Big Block Chevy was manufactured standard with Hydraulic roller camshafts and came with mullti port fuel injection. A quick way of picking the external differnece of a GEN 6 BBC is the front timing cover has 6 bolts, where as the older GEN 4 have 10 bolts.
